A few years ago, I founded IdeaTree. Previously, I had served more than 20 years in strategic and executive positions in product development, marketing, sales and product management. During that time, I had played a major role in the growth of mass marketers like Golden Books, Publications International and Gibson Greetings. I’d developed and launched 75 new lines and more than 1500 products, each backed by highly innovative marketing and merchandising programs. The ensuing successful products have to-date yielded more than $5 billion in retail sales.
